Or call us on 0488 850 588 and ask for an Activation Visit this week.

Who we’re usually the best fit for
- Ages 12–35 with psychosocial / mental health or neurodivergent support needs
- Families who want regular 3–8 hour blocks, usually 1–2 days a week to start
- People spending most weekdays at home with not much happening
- Need help with getting out of the house, routines, big emotions and some personal care / communication support
Not the best fit if:
- You only have 1–2 hours a week or want occasional quick check-ins
- You’re outside Lake Macquarie, Newcastle, Central Coast, Maitland or Cessnock
- You only want after-school “once in a while” supports with no room to grow
What happens in your Activation Visit
We come to you or meet in the community
A senior team member meets you and the participant, goes through key details, and gets a feel for personality, pace and support needs. We map a simple first routine
Together we sketch out what the first 4–6 weeks could look like: days, times, types of outings, and any personal care or communication support. We match you with a small, stable team
We look at personality fit, interests and availability, then confirm your primary support worker and any backups so you’re not left hanging.

What is an Activation Visit and do we pay for it?
An Activation Visit is a paid first visit where we meet you and the participant (at home or in the community), get to know them, and map out what the first 4–6 weeks of supports could look like. It’s billed at the standard NDIS rate for the support worker / team leader attending. If we can’t complete the Activation Visit within 7 days of booking, you don’t pay for the visit.
Do you support our area?
We currently support participants in Lake Macquarie, Newcastle, Central Coast (north), Maitland, Cessnock and nearby suburbs. If you’re just outside these areas, send an enquiry and we’ll let you know quickly if we can help or if another provider might be a better fit.
What ages and support needs do you work best with?
Most of the people we support are aged 12–35 with psychosocial, mental health or neurodivergent support needs (including ADHD and autism). We’re usually the best fit where there’s funding for regular 3–8 hour blocks, not just occasional 1–2 hour check‑ins, and where support is needed with getting out of the house, routines, big emotions and some personal care or communication support.
What NDIS funding types do you work with?
We work with NDIS-managed, plan-managed and self-managed participants. On the planning call we’ll confirm which categories your supports can be billed from and how invoicing will work so there are no surprises.
How soon can supports start after the Activation Visit?
In most cases, once the Activation Visit is complete and we’ve agreed on a plan, we can match a worker and start regular supports within 1–3 weeks, depending on your availability, location and support needs.
Will we have the same worker every time?
We focus on building a small, stable team around each participant. That usually means a primary worker they see most often, plus a small number of backups so you’re not left without support if someone is sick or on leave. If the fit isn’t right, we adjust early.
What if we need to cancel or reschedule?
We follow the current NDIS cancellation rules. If you need to cancel, please let us know as early as possible. Short‑notice cancellations may still be billed in line with the NDIS guidelines, so we’ll go through how this works during the planning call before any regular supports start.
